Most people imagine Idaho as a flat featureless State. Many of the cars have license plates that carry the logo "Famous Potatoes". But there are also mountainous areas such as the beautiful Sun Valley which was one of the first ski resorts to be developed in the USA. In the 40's Hollywood stars would set out by by train from sunny L.A. to the high cold town of Ketchum no doubt traveling in luxury and having some fine cocktails en-route. Some of today's movie stars have built winter cabins in the area. These pictures were taken over two very enjoyable visits to the area when I edited the films "Wolves at Our Door" and "Living with Wolves" for Jim and Jamie Dutcher.
